As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an additional Lead Graphics Programmer to join the team and help us in crafting the high-calibre games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach our Graphics team.
- Assist with the recruiting of Graphics Programmers.
- Manage code reviews and code features documentation.
- Work in tandem with Larian Studios' other programming Leads.
- Assist in maintaining, porting, and extending our proprietary engine on multiple platforms.
- Debug and optimize code to hit quality and performance targets.
- Complete all tasks in a timely manner and to a consistent high-quality standard.
- Develop well-designed software within the project schedule to team standards.
- Safeguard company assets, including source code, artwork, tools, and technical know-how.
Requirements
- Demonstrable Lead or Management experience.
- Extensive experience programming for games.
- Excellent C++ skills.
- Strong mentor and coaching ability.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Experience with graphics APIs like DirectX 12 and Vulkan.
- Experience with a wide range of CPU and GPU profiling tools.
- Multi-threading should be second nature.
- Passion for making and playing great games and for low-level coding and performance analysis.
